Payment Authorization
Version SETWELL-PAYMENT-2026-09-v2.1
Ademis Technologies LLC d/b/a Setwell Appliances (SETWELL) uses Stripe for payment processing when production payments are enabled.
Scheduled rent and payment setup
I authorize SETWELL to save the payment method I select in the secure payment-provider step and collect the selected monthly rent plus applicable tax on the 1st of each month after service starts, continuing month-to-month after the initial four-month commitment until properly ended. My selected plan and monthly rent appear in the Rental Summary. No deposit applies. No rent is charged solely for signing or saving a payment method.
First payment and changes
The first charge occurs only after successful delivery, installation, testing and customer acceptance. It uses Stripe time-based proration from the actual Service Start Date/time to the next monthly billing boundary. SETWELL must disclose the exact first amount, tax, covered period and next payment date and obtain the required acceptance before debiting. These amounts and dates are not yet determined at website signing. If installation changes, the disclosure is recalculated. A combined partial month plus following full month in the last three calendar days is optional and requires a separate express acceptance of that invoice; this checkbox does not select it.
Scope and revocation
This authorization covers scheduled rent and tax, not unrestricted damage, relocation or early-ending assessments. Those must be itemized and separately invoiced or specifically authorized before an off-session debit. I confirm I am authorized to use the payment method I select. I may revoke authorization at contact@setwellappliances.com. SETWELL will act promptly and will not continue debits known to be unauthorized. Maintaining authorized autopay is a rental condition except where prohibited by law or SETWELL agrees otherwise. Revocation stops future debits under that authorization; it does not cancel the rental or erase valid rent. To continue, I must arrange newly authorized autopay or an agreed permitted alternative. SETWELL gives seven calendar days after notice to correct removed autopay before termination for that breach; overdue rent keeps its separate deadline. A one-time payment does not reinstate recurring authorization. Unresolved breach may result in termination and lawful pickup under Sections 7 and 12 of the Rental Service Agreement. No late or failed-payment fee is authorized here.
Failed scheduled payments
For ongoing rent, SETWELL sends a failure/cure notice and reminders three and five calendar days after the original due date (America/Chicago). This authorization permits up to two automatic retries of that same unpaid rent and tax, on days three and five, only while authorization remains valid and provider rules and law permit. Missed retry dates are skipped. No retry occurs after payment, revocation or a stop-payment instruction, while a transfer is still processing, or when new customer authorization/action is required. I can separately initiate an authorized payment. Required varying-amount or bank-debit notices still apply.
Rent unpaid seven calendar days after its due date is in default. Before termination for nonpayment, SETWELL allows until the later of that date or three calendar days after providing the failure/cure notice. Removal of autopay has the separate correction process above. SETWELL then reviews the record and may issue a termination/pickup notice; no automatic termination or added late fee is authorized. Failed initial activation payments must be resolved before the rental becomes Active.
Consumer bank debits and customer copy
I retain applicable bank stop-payment rights, including notifying my bank at least three business days before a scheduled preauthorized transfer. SETWELL will provide required notice of varying transfers, including at least 10 days' notice where applicable unless a valid separately accepted alternative applies. This authorization does not waive notice. ACH is unavailable until the payment provider's mandate, account verification, authorization-copy delivery and notice process are implemented. The payment-provider step identifies the method and any additional mandate. This document is not, by itself, a completed ACH mandate.
The exact accepted Payment Authorization is included in my downloadable signed agreement package and HTML copy. Payment credentials and full card or bank numbers are never included in that copy.
